CaseForge is a case-interview practice tool for product, HR, sales and marketing roles, built in India. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect, why we need it, who helps us process it, and how you can see or delete it.
What we collect
- Your account details: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
- Your onboarding answers: your first name, the interview round you're preparing for (product, HR, sales or marketing), how many cases you've done before, and when your interviews are.
- Your case work: everything you type into a case, the scores and feedback you receive, and your practice history.
- Plan interest: which pricing plan you clicked on (Free, Practice or Placement Pack), if any.
- Early-access sign-ups: if you use the “Start with a free case” form, your email and the function you picked.
We don't collect payment card details. When paid plans launch, payments will be handled by a licensed payment gateway, and we'll only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Why we use it
- To score your answers and show you feedback.
- To save your progress so you can practise on any device.
- To recommend cases for your function and level.
- To reply when you contact us, and to tell you about CaseForge if you joined through the sign-up form.
- To understand which plans people are interested in, so we can price CaseForge sensibly.
We never sell your data, and we never share it with recruiters or employers. We don't show ads, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers to run CaseForge. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase: our database and sign-in system. Your data is stored on its servers in Mumbai, India.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- River AI: when you finish a case, your written answers (and the case itself) are sent to River's AI model so it can score them. Your name and email are not sent.
- Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
Some of these providers may process data outside India, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Stored in your browser
If you practise without an account, your progress is kept only in your own browser (local storage), not on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes it. When you sign up, that progress is moved into your account.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and practice history for as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Early-access sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email caseforgee1234@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, and our database rules mean each person can only read their own practice data. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Age
CaseForge is meant for people aged 18 and over who are preparing for job or placement interviews.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also tell signed-in users by email or in the app.
